ZION MOVEMENT FORGIVES OFFENSIVE BLOGGER AS ITS CRUSADE HOLDS IN IMO STATE.
Zion Christian movement outreach has formally forgiven a controversial Blogger and content creator,Mr Chizorom Ofoegbu ( alias Ijele )who threatened the life of its Spiritual Director, Evang. Ebuka Obi , ahead of the end of the end of the 100- day fasting & prayer scheduled for August 25, this year to hold in Amala Ntu, Ngor Okpala , Imo state.
A committee member of 100-day fasting and prayer, Bro Iheonu Patrick , dropped this cheering news . during a press conference in Lagos office of Zion to herald the end of the event which started on May 28 and to end with a three- day power- packed crusade beginning on August 24 ,to be presided over by Ebuka Obi.
According to him . adequate security of lives and property of participants in the programme from far and near within Nigeria and in diaspora t are to be provided by the security agents with the support of the fervent prayers of the faithful.
He assured that therr will be live streaming of the activities of the event from the venue vis various social media platforms for the benefit of ZIONITES who may not be able to physically attend the annual programme.He, however, explained that the decision to hold this year’s crusade outside Lagos was due to space constraints as well as the need to take the message of God and attendant spiritual and physical upliftment to other parts of the country.
He further stated that the Spiritual exercise promises to be an avenue for Zionites and hopeful children of God to go closer to their creator, for his mercies , forgiveness of their sins and show charity to the needy and less priviledge .
In the light of this, Zion Christian movement, which foundation is on love , charity , forgiveness, extended same to its corporate and individual sinners as Ijele and pleaded God to touch them.
Consequently,the Christian ministry had to vary the bail Condition of Ijele, to facilitate his freedom from the arms of the law.
Though the blogger has been forgiven ,reports indicated that he is still embroiled in other legal battles in connection with defamation and cyber crime instituted by other corporates and individuals, not Zion Christian movement Outreach.
