YAM SELLER-TURNED ARTISTE RELEASES FIVE CHRISTIAN SONGS

Love and Passion for God’s work coupled with sheer determination to answer divine call motivated Deaconess Mmeremikwu chukwuma Chinyere, a Yam seller based in Ogun state to release five tracks of gospel songs into the Nigerian music industry.
The artiste, a committed Redeemed Church member who worships in the Fruitful Vine branch, Olowofela, Magboro, released those soul- lifting and captivating songs rendered in English and Igbo languages under her company, Blessed Chi Jesus Music Ministry.
In an interview with OPEN BUSINESS newspaper, she listed those audio tracks as Show me mercy, Ibu chukwu dinma, Authority, Your grace is enough for me and Righteous God.
The middle-aged lady from Orlu, Imo state who is married with children, stated that those songs represent her modest contribution to win more souls for God through music ministration.
According to her, the dream to sing for God dated back to 2018 when God’s message was repeatedly revealed to her without clarity.
She stated that lack of the understanding of those visions and financial constraints explained her delay to answer the divine call.
According to the artiste, “ I was always writing down those songs each time they appeared in my dream once I woke up in order not to forget them. These were usually done at home in the morning immediately after sleep or at times in my shop in the market,” she added.
Mrs Mmeremikwu said that despite always being physically punctual to church services as a worker, in the dream, she was coming late to church programmes
She continued,“In the dream ,l would see my pastor scolding me for lateness to Church programmes and not working for God”.
The repeated revelation of such unclear vision took me to my lady friend, a deliverance minister in the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry (MFM) for explanation of the blurred dream, ” she added
“This worry became much to me when, in one of such dreams, God showed me two unknown men singing one of my songs titled Righteous God, ‘.This was interpreted to mean that other people may take away my vision if the delay to sing for God persisted, the artiste stated.
According to her, this prompted me to discuss with friends, my Pastor and my husband on how to get my dream realised without further delay.
By the Grace of God , approval and financial support of my husband plus don’t of hard work have birth to the five new gospel songs in the market today.
On August 13, 2024. those songs were presented to the public during a modest launch.
Till date, she said, I look up to God who started the journey to continue pushing me to where He wants me to go with these songs.
According to her, Ada Jesus and Mercy Chinwo are my role models but my challenge is how to profitably market those songs and popularise them, too.
She stated that currently the audio song tracks are online played on the TikTok.
The artiste prays and looks forward to get sponsors that would facilitate release of audio and video albums of the songs.
