Folashade Joseph Retires As NAIC MD/CEO, Hands Over To Florence Onwuanuokwu
The Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC), has announced the retirement of its Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Folashade Joseph.
To this end, Mrs. Joseph has handed over the responsibilities of running the Corporation to Mrs. Florence Onwuanuokwu, General Manager (Underwriting), as acting Managing Director/CEO.
This development was contained in a press statement issued yesterday by the Deputy General Manager of Corporate Affairs at NAIC Magdalene Omosimua.
The statement stated that during Mrs Joseph’s tenure, the corporation not only evolved in its core mandate but also gained new ground in service delivery, operational efficiency and a lot of stakeholder engagements and that her dedication and expertise are invaluable to the organisation’s growth and success.
In a brief handing-over ceremony which took place in Abuja, the Acting Managing Director recently, Mrs. Onwuanuokwu thanked the outgoing Managing Director for leadership and vision.
Responding, Mrs Folashade Joseph thanked the Federal Government for giving her the opportunity to serve in that capacity and also thanked the organisation for its cooperation.
She expressed confidence that the acting MD/CEO would bring her wealth of experience to bear towards a greater NAIC.
