902 new Oyo workers get appointment letters
A total of 902 graduates recently recruited into the civil service by the Oyo State government will, beginning from Friday, receive their appointment letters.
Governor Seyi Makinde had recently approved the employment of 902 graduates into the state civil service.
A statement on Wednesday signed by the Chairman of the state Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Kamoru Aderibigbe, said the collection of the letters would commence on Friday, January 24 and end on Tuesday, January 28.
He advised successful applicants to collect their appointment letters at designated offices in the Civil Service Commission between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm each day, which they must appear in person on Friday, between 9.00 am and 1.00 p.m.
While congratulating the successful applicants, Aderibigbe urged them to be orderly during the exercise.
He also warned that on no account would the commission allow the collection of appointment letters by proxy, adding that the commissioners would be on the ground to monitor the exercise.
He appreciated the governor for the rare privilege of the recruitment exercise in the history of the state.
