2.3m Zionites honour Evang. Ebuka Obi, twin brother in grand style

Over 2.3 million Zionites from within and outside Nigeria gathered in the Lagos office of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach (ZPMO) to graciously honour the Spiritual Director of the ministry, Evang.Chukwuebuka Obi and his twin brother Engineer Chinwike Obi, during their birthday celebration.
The historic carnival- like occasion, streamed live in the social media platforms, was an assemblage of dignitaries and personalities, sumptuously dressed to share in the blessings that usually flow from the annual birthday foods and drinks.
On Sunday 20, 2024 the vicinity of ZPMO started bubbling with business activities as early as 4.30 am as zealous Zionites trooped into the ministry’s auditorium, venue of the event,to take vantage positions in the seats.
All roads, literally, led to the ministry’s holy ground as vehicular and human traffic defied the hike in prices of petroleum products and attendant rise in the transport fares.
Expectedly, individuals and corporate entities, town unions as well as Departments in ZPMO were on ground to add colour to the occasion with their stickers and uniforms, bearing the pictures of the spiritual director of ZPMO with the twin brother.
The occasion attracted intercontinental and local dishes and delicacies whose aroma seemed to favourably compete with the fragrant perfumes of guests beautifully dressed in party array.
By 12.40 pm, Evangelist Ebuka Obi and his twin brother, elegantly dressed, were driven into the venue, in a motorcade surrounded by security aides and jubilant Zionites.
Their entry automatically electrified the ambience as enthusiastic crowd surged out with some craning their necks to catch a glimpse of the servant of God severally described as selfless and humble.
There were intermittent prayers and worship songs, punctuated by breath-taking testimonies, display of cultural and Christian dances to the admiration of all and sundry.
Many guests irrespective of gender, tribe, nationality and age, spectacularly testified to the efficacy of the birthday foods in bringing break- through and solutions to their life challenges.
The elated Ebuka Obi, nonetheless, enjoined the guests to give their lives to God and aspire to make Heaven through love and works to humanity.
He recalled some life- changing initiatives of ZPMO since 2009 which include scholarship awards to the less privileged, rehabilitation of repented prostitutes, provision of homes to the homeless, financial empowerment to the needy and the construction of the Old peoples’ Home through the Seraphic Home Foundation of ZPMO.
The Spiritual Director, however, uplifted the lives of eight diligent staff of ZPMO with N24million empowerment cash to motivate them for their loyalty and dedication.
He specifically thanked God ,his parents and Zionites for his life and his able brother.
Engineer Chinwike, on his part, praised God for His abundant grace upon their lives as well as thanked friends and well-wishers for coming out in numbers to honour them during the celebration.
Assuring that such show of love would not be taken for granted, he prayed for God’s journey mercies to the guests and Zionites.
